Management Members

In 2013, Aris Winarno took on the role of the inaugural Chairman of IMCQ, offering guidance to the organisation’s management. Eight individuals, later formally registered as the Board of Directors in the deeds of establishment, played pivotal roles in the growth of IMCQ. Within a year, Hamid Mawardi assumed leadership, preserving the legacy of the founders. Following Hamid, Hendra Jitno directed the organization during the 2020-2022 period.

Alhamdulillah, in the past twelve years, IMCQ has undergone notable growth in its organizational structure, the number of management and registered members, and the scope of its activities. The present management, covering 2022-2024, is structured into diverse departments, each with interconnected roles and responsibilities.

Alaik Kubra
Chairman

Alaik and his family made the decision to migrate to Australia in March 2009, primarily to support his wife’s pursuit of post-graduate studies in Brisbane. While continuing his career in the mining industry as a geologist, Alaik has also been actively engaged in contributing to Indonesian Islamic Society of Brisbane (IISB), where he served as the Education Department organizer for a two-year term from 2016 to 2018. Additionally, Alaik has been a dedicated volunteer with the IMCQ (Indonesian Muslim Community of Queensland), and with notable contributions, he has recently been appointed to lead the Board of Directors for IMCQ for the period 2022-2024.

Evandri Wancik
Director of Treasure and Secretary

Evandri’s connection with Australia began in the 1990s when he attended high school in Perth. A mining industry professional, he moved to Australia with his family in 2006. Evandri actively participates in community groups and professional societies across Brisbane and Australia. He currently serves the positions of Director and Treasurer for IMCQ for the period 2023 – 2024.

Febi Dwirahmadi
Director of Public Relation

Coming from Jakarta, Febi first arrived in Brisbane as a master’s student in 2008. After completing his master’s degree, Febi returned to Indonesia and worked in the field of disaster management and humanitarian assistance. In 2011, Febi returned to Brisbane to pursue a doctoral degree in Environmental Health. Febi currently works as a teaching staff at a university in Queensland. Within the scope of social activities, Febi has been the president of The Indonesian Islamic Society of Brisbane from 2012-to 2013, and now Febi carries out duties as Director of Public Relations of IMCQ period 2020-to 2022 and period 2022 to 2024.

Teuku Rahmat Monza
Director of Program and Activity

Monza and family migrated to Australia back in April 2014 to pursue a better life work balance and joined their family in Melbourne. He started getting involved with IMCV (Indonesian Muslim Community of Victoria) especially Masjid Westall there. After getting a job in Brisbane in November 2014, he volunteered in IISB (Indonesian Islamic Society Of Brisbane) as a Secretary General for 3 years (2015-2018). in IMCQ, he is now appointed as a Director for the period 2023-2024.

Hapsara Mahardika
Director of Infrastructure and Maintenance
